TAMELA PERDUE AND JOSHUA SPAGNOLA have been hired to lead state government affairs for Sunshine Health. Perdue, who was named senior vice president of legislative and government affairs, previously worked as general counsel for Associated Industries of Florida. Spagnola, who was named vice president of legislative and government affairs, has served as deputy chief of staff and legislative affairs director for the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.

STEVEN FIELDER has been hired as chief of staff at the Florida Department of Corrections. Fielder most recently has worked as director of administrative services at the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.

ASHLEY WALKER has been named a partner of the public-strategy firm Mercury. Walker has led the firm's public-affairs operation in Florida and previously was Florida state director of Obama for America during the 2012 presidential campaign.

MAYRA MACIAS has been named political director of the Florida Democratic Party. Macias' previous positions have included deputy political director and the party's Hispanic outreach coordinator for South Florida.

ALBERT "BUTCH" ARENAL has been sworn in as president of the Florida Police Chiefs Association. Arenal is chief of the Coconut Creek Police Department. 

MATT CARLUCCI AND MICHELLE ANCHORS have been elected to leadership posts on the Florida Commission on Ethics. Carlucci, who will serve as chairman, is owner of Matthew F. Carlucci Insurance Agency, Inc. and is a former Jacksonville City Council president. Anchors, who will serve as vice chairwoman, practices law in Fort Walton Beach.

JON COSTELLO AND SAMUEL "BO" SPRING have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Northwest Florida Water Management District Governing Board. Costello, of Tallahassee, is a governmental consultant with Rutledge Ecenia P.A. and is an adjunct professor at Florida State University. Spring, of Port St. Joe, is the managing member of Big Fish Construction LLC. 

DON QUINCEY AND GARY JONES have been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Suwannee River Water Management District Governing Board. Quincey, of Chiefland, is owner of Quincey Cattle Company. Jones, of Old Town, is a farmer and an athletic coach with the Dixie County School Board.

WAYNE VEITCH has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Commercial Motor Vehicle Review Board. Veitch, of Green Cove Springs, is vice president of transportation and vehicle procurement for Ring Power.

GREG S. HUTCHING has been reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission. Hutching, of Chipley, is the criminal justice training center director at Florida Panhandle Technical College.
