TRACY DUDA CHAPMAN has been elected as the 2015-2016 chair of the Florida Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Duda Chapman is senior vice president and general counsel of A. Duda & Sons, Inc.

TOM KUNTZ has been elected chairman of the State University System's Board of Governors. Kuntz has served as vice chairman and will succeed outgoing Chairman Mori Hosseini.

JOSE FELIX DIAZ AND JOSE JAVIER RODRIGUEZ have been elected to lead the Miami-Dade County Legislative Delegation. Diaz, a Republican who represents House District 116, will serve as chairman of the delegation in 2016. Rodriguez, a Democrat who represents House District 112, will serve as vice chairman.

ELEANOR SOBEL has been appointed by Senate President Andy Gardiner to the Statewide Drug Policy Advisory Council. Sobel, a Hollywood Democrat, is chairwoman of the Senate Children, Families and Elder Affairs Committee.

STEVE DWINELL has been appointed by Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam as director of the Office of Agricultural Water Policy at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Dwinell has served since 2000 as assistant director of the Division of Agricultural Environmental Services.

MORGAN MCCORD has been named press secretary at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity. McCord has served as director of communications at Florida TaxWatch.

ASHTON HAYWARD, GENEAN MCKINNON, CYNTHIA "CINDY' O'CONNELL, JAMES CROTEAU, AUTUMN KARLINSKY, NATALIA MARTINEZ AND KERRY SCHULTZ have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Florida Commission on Community Service (Volunteer Florida). Hayward, of Pensacola, is the mayor of Pensacola. McKinnon, of Winter Park, is president of McKinnon Associates Inc. O'Connell, of Tallahassee, is former secretary of the Florida Department of Lottery. Croteau, of Tallahassee, is interim chief executive officer of American Second Harvest of the Big Bend. Karlinsky, of Weston, is a volunteer and fundraiser with Imagine Charter School. Martinez, of Pembroke Pines, is the previous chief innovation and technology officer for Roots of Hope. Schultz, of Gulf Breeze, is an attorney with Fountain, Schultz and Associates.

ELISHA GONZALEZ BONNEWITZ, BRYAN NELSON, BRITTANY BIRKEN, ROBERT CAMPBELL, DUANE DE FREESE, KEVIN DOYLE, ELLI HURST AND ALEX MOSELEY have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Directors of CareerSource Florida. Bonnewitz, of Winter Park, is executive director of Valencia Promise and director of community affairs for Valencia College. Nelson, of Apopka, is president of Nelson Insurance Services and an Orange County Commissioner. Birken, of Tallahassee, is chief executive officer of the Florida Children's Council. Campbell, of Jacksonville, is an associate with Tison & Associates Inc. De Freese, of Indialantic, is executive director of the Indian River Lagoon Council and the Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program. Doyle, of Jacksonville, is a managing partner with Wexford Strategies and executive director of the Consumer Energy Alliance of Florida. Hurst, of Fort Lauderdale, is vice president of IBM Global Services. Moseley, of Venice, is chief executive officer of MoseSys LLC.

JODY LEE, BRYAN NELSON, JEFFREY PRATHER, ANN SHORTELLE AND LESLIE "SHANNON" WRIGHT have been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Wekiva River Basin Commission. Lee, of Palatka, is an environmental manager with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Nelson, of Apopka, is president of Nelson Insurance Services and an Orange County commissioner. Prather, of Orlando, is a director with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Shortelle, of Gainesville, is executive director of the St. Johns River Water Management District. Wright, of Lake Panasoffkee, is Northeast regional director for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

JAMES "JIM" HOLTON AND CLIFFORD "CLIFF" MANUEL have been appointed or reappointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Tampa Bay Area Regional Transportation Authority. Holton, of Indian Shores, is president of JWH Properties Inc and James W. Holton PA Law Firm. Manuel, of Brooksville, is president of Coastal Engineering Associates Inc.

RICHARD "RICH" MCCLAIN has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority. McClain, of Tampa, is the federal lead in Tampa for Deloitte Consulting LLP.

MARA GAMBINERI has been named communications director at the Florida Department of Health. Gambineri has most recently worked as the department's press secretary and previously worked at the Department of Environmental Protection and the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

JARED FRITTS has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Commercial Motor Vehicle Review Board. Fritts, of Jacksonville, is a field safety manager for Landstar Transportation Logistics.
